Run your links from your own tools.
The FIFO REST API gives your scripts, dashboards, and sites the same links and analytics you see in the dashboard. Grant a key write access and it can also manage them: create and edit links, set promos and scheduled disables, add and remove tags, update categories, and apply a change to many links at once.
Keys are read-only unless you grant write scopes, and no key can delete anything — deleting stays in the dashboard, behind your sign-in. API access is available on the Maker Pro plan and is the foundation for AI access via the MCP server.

What you can build with the API
Read your data to build custom dashboards, sync click data into a spreadsheet or BI tool, or automate reports for brand partners. Each link comes back with its tags, its promo, whether that promo is active right now, and any scheduled disable, so a site that shows your offers can pick the right ones without doing its own date and timezone logic.
With write access, keep FIFO in step with the rest of your stack: create links as you publish, retag them for the sites they belong to, set a sale when an advertiser sends one, or schedule a link to switch off when a program closes. A bulk endpoint applies one change to up to 100 links, and a preview mode shows exactly what would change before anything does.
Secure, scoped API keys
You generate API keys in your dashboard and choose what each one may do: read links, stats, or categories, and — only if you tick them — write links or categories. Keys are shown once at creation, stored only as a hash, and can be revoked any time. Requests are rate-limited per plan, so usage stays predictable.
Nothing can be deleted with an API key. To take something down, a key can disable a link or deactivate a category, and both can be reversed; deleting permanently requires signing in to the dashboard. Every change a key makes to a link is recorded in that link’s history under the key’s name, with the old and new values, and you can undo it from the dashboard.
The same key model powers the FIFO MCP server, so connecting an AI assistant uses exactly the credentials and scopes you already understand.

- What can the FIFO API do?
- Read your links, per-link statistics and breakdowns, individual click records, an account overview, and your categories. With write scopes it can also create and edit links, set or remove promos and scheduled disables, add or remove tags, create and update categories, and bulk-edit up to 100 links at a time.
- How do I authenticate with the API?
- You create an API key in your dashboard and send it as a Bearer token in the Authorization header. Each key carries only the scopes you chose when you created it, and can be revoked at any time.
- Which plan includes API access?
- API access is available on the Maker Pro plan, which also unlocks AI access via the MCP server.
- Can the API change or delete my links?
- It can change them only if you grant a write scope; keys are read-only by default. It can never delete them: there is no delete endpoint, and deleting requires signing in to the dashboard. Every change a key makes to a link is recorded with the key’s name and can be undone from the dashboard, unless the same field has been changed again since.
