Promos & Scheduling

Offers that start and stop on their own.

Affiliate offers come with dates: a fall sale, a launch discount, a code that works for two weeks. A promo lets you attach that offer to a link without rewriting the link’s title or description. It shows with the link while it runs and stops showing when it ends.

When a whole program is ending, schedule the link itself to switch off. At the time you set it stops redirecting and leaves your public pages, so nobody lands on an offer that no longer exists.

What you get

  • Sale headline (up to 80 characters) and optional coupon code
  • Optional start and end times, set in your own timezone
  • Shown on your public pages only while running
  • Kept on the link after it ends, for your records
  • Schedule a link to disable itself on a date
  • Included on every plan, including Free

Keep offers apart from your links

Writing “60% off this week” into a link’s title works until the sale ends, and then the title is wrong until you remember to fix it. A promo is a separate field: the link keeps its lasting title and description, and the offer sits beside it with its own headline, code, and dates.

Leave out the start time and the promo begins right away; leave out the end time and it runs until you remove it. After it ends it stays attached to the link, marked as ended, so you have a record of what ran and when.

Switch a link off when a program closes

Advertisers leave networks and programs close, often with notice. Set the date on the link and it disables itself at that moment: the redirect shows visitors that the link is no longer available, and the link leaves your public pages. It keeps its click history, and you can re-enable it any time.

A link switched off this way stays off even if you later change plans, because its program has ended, not your allowance.

Automate it with the API or Claude

On the Maker Pro plan, promos and schedules can also be set through the REST API or by asking an AI assistant connected over MCP — “add a fall sale with code FALL60 through Oct 8”. Every link read through the API says whether its promo is active right now, so a site that displays your offers does not have to work out dates and timezones itself.

Perfect for

  • Seasonal sales and limited-time discounts
  • Coupon codes from affiliate programs
  • Launch offers with a fixed end date
  • Links for programs that are known to be closing

Frequently asked questions

Where does a promo appear?
With the link on its public page and on your category and profile pages, while the promo is running. Public pages are cached briefly, so a promo can take a few minutes to appear or disappear. The promo is also returned by the API, with a flag saying whether it is active now.
Does a promo change my link’s title or description?
No. The promo is stored separately, so your title and description stay as you wrote them, and the promo comes and goes on its own schedule.
What timezone are promo times in?
In the dashboard you pick start and end times in your own timezone. The end time is the moment the promo stops, so for a sale that runs through October 8, set the end to midnight at the start of October 9.
What happens when a scheduled disable time arrives?
The link stops redirecting at that time and visitors see that it is no longer available. It is removed from your public pages, keeps its click history, and can be re-enabled whenever you like.
Which plans include promos and scheduling?
All of them, including Free. Setting promos and schedules through the API or an AI assistant requires Maker Pro, the plan that includes API and MCP access.
