Privacy First
Honest analytics with zero visitor tracking.
FIFO is privacy-first by design. We never set cookies, drop tracking pixels, or fingerprint your visitors, and we never build a profile that follows someone from one site to the next. You still get the click analytics you need — referrers, devices, geography, and campaigns.
The one identifier a redirect necessarily sees is the visitor’s IP address. FIFO uses it for a single purpose — telling automated traffic from real people — and reduces it to its network prefix within an hour of the click. Location comes from our CDN, not from the address. It is never sold, shared, or used to build an advertising profile.
What you get
- No cookies or tracking pixels
- No browser fingerprinting
- No cross-site profiles, ever
- Aggregated, privacy-respecting analytics
Analytics you can feel good about sharing
Most link trackers monetize detailed personal data, following individuals across the web with cookies and fingerprints. FIFO takes the opposite approach: we measure what you need to grow — where clicks come from and what devices people use — and stop there. Nothing is sold, nothing is shared with ad networks, and nothing follows your audience off the page.
Your audience keeps their privacy, and you avoid the legal and ethical risk that comes with invasive tracking.
Less compliance overhead
Because FIFO does not drop cookies or tracking pixels through its redirects, it sidesteps much of the consent-banner burden that traditional analytics create. You get clean, useful numbers without turning your links into a privacy liability.
Privacy-first tracking is not just kinder to your audience — it is increasingly what platforms, browsers, and regulators expect.
Perfect for
- Creators who care about their audience’s privacy
- Brands that need to avoid invasive tracking
- Anyone tired of managing cookie consent banners
- Marketers who want honest, defensible analytics
Frequently asked questions
- Does FIFO use cookies to track clicks?
- No. FIFO is cookieless. It does not set tracking cookies or pixels when someone clicks your link, so there are no consent banners to manage on your redirects.
- Do you store visitors’ IP addresses?
- Yes — a redirect cannot happen without one. FIFO records the IP alongside the click and uses it for one thing: separating automated traffic from real people so your click counts are honest. A second pass runs hourly to finish that classification, and truncates the address to its network prefix as it does — the final octet of an IPv4 address is discarded — so within an hour of the click what remains identifies a network rather than a visitor. Individual click records are deleted after roughly two years. It is never sold, shared with ad networks, or used to build a profile that follows anyone across the web.
- Is FIFO GDPR-friendly?
- FIFO is designed to minimize personal data collection: no cookies, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting, and no cross-site profiles. IP addresses are recorded with each click for bot detection, and location is recorded from our CDN — both are personal data under GDPR, so if you operate in the EU, cover them in your privacy notice. For specific legal advice, consult your own counsel.
- How can analytics work without tracking people?
- FIFO measures signals present at the moment of the click — referrer, device type, browser, and the location our CDN reports — rather than building a persistent profile that follows a visitor around the web. You see the trends you need without ever identifying an individual to advertisers.
